VLAD COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF GUIDO AMMIRATA

THE ITALIAN LEADER IN PROFESSIONAL LIGHTING SOLUTIONS, PARTICULARLY FOR HOSPITALS

Accompanied by Turenne Health for less than six months and Bpifrance, VLAD, the French leader in batteries for the medical sector, completes the acquisition of Guido Ammirata, Italian company distributing lamps and lighting, particularly for hospitals. This first acquisition is part of VLAD's development plan, which plans to double its turnover by expanding internationally.

Founded in 1949 in Milan by the eponymous family and managed by Alessio Ammirata, Guido Ammirata is a specialist distributor of lamps, lighting and accessories for the medical sector and various industries. Guido Ammirata is a key player in Italy with a wide range of customers and also distributes VLAD batteries in Italy. The company has experienced strong growth in recent years to reach more than €8M in turnover.

Founded more than 35 years ago near Tours, VLAD is the French leader in the design and distribution of batteries for the medical sector and industry thanks to a very high quality of service to its customers, particularly hospitals and clinics. VLAD achieved nearly €25 million in turnover last year.

The merger between Guido Ammirata and VLAD, who have known each other for many years, allows VLAD to benefit from operational and commercial synergies, as well as a direct presence in Italy.
