VLAD supports HANDICAP INTERNATIONAL

VLAD supports Handicap International to reduce disability among children less than 5 years in Burkina Faso by committing to donate 1% of sales of the Exalium brand (Group VLAD brand) batteries to the NGO. VLAD continues its commitment in the field of health and became a patron involved with the most vulnerable populations.

The collected sum will support a project conducted by Handicap International in Burkina Faso.

Vlad has chosen to involve its employees in its commitment: novateur, the choice of the supported project made in a collegial manner. Indeed, at their annual meeting employees of the company were able to vote to choose the project to support. This is finally the program prevention and risk reduction of disability in children less than 5 years of malnutrition in Burkina Faso has been chosen.

The launch of this partnership was accompanied by Jean-Baptiste Richardier, co-founder of Handicap International, who went on-site to underline the importance of the solidarity commitment in the humanitarian business.

So by supporting disability International VLAD brings together his community around strong values such as solidarity and commitment.

1. PHYSICAL THERAPY OF AWAKENING

  • Individual therapeutic support
  • Improvement of the physical, psychomotor and cognitive development of the malnourished child
  • Prevent, limit the acquisition of disabling sequelae

2. PSYCHOSOCIAL STIMULATION

  • Stimulation in through ludic activities groups sessions
  • The spheres of cognitive, emotional, motor and language development
  • Training and supervision of the social-health officers
  • Construction or rehabilitation of spaces of stimulation

3. PSYCHOSOCIAL AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT

  • Awareness of parents on the importance of early stimulation
  • Training of parent educators for community activities of practice of care for the development of the child
  • Support for families, home visits
  • Implementation of community homes, groups of words
  • Psychological follow-up during the course of care
