After explaining why we decided to bring some of our production back to France, it’s time to see how we’re making it happen!

In this second episode of our Make or Buy series, entitled “Making It Possible”, we take you behind the scenes of this industrial project to explore the steps and resources involved in bringing part of our production back to our facility in Parçay-Meslay, near Tours, France.

From vision to reality

Bringing some of our product manufacturing back to France is about much more than simply relocating production. It is a major industrial transformation project that requires us to rethink our organisation, adapt our equipment and develop new ways of working.

Our goal: to strengthen our control over production, expand our manufacturing capabilities and showcase our industrial expertise here in France.

Investing to modernise our manufacturing facilities

To make this reshoring project possible, we have invested in new production equipment and adapted our industrial operations.

Equipment upgrades, automation of certain processes, workflow optimisation and improved purchasing management: every initiative helps us increase efficiency, boost productivity and maintain greater control over quality.

These developments are enabling us to build a more efficient manufacturing operation and strengthen our long-term ability to produce in France.

A collective project driven by our teams

Behind every investment and technical improvement are the people who bring this project to life.

Reshoring involves a wide range of expertise, including purchasing, production, process engineering, IT, electronics and quality management. Collaboration across these different departments is essential to overcoming technical and organisational challenges.

It is also an opportunity to develop new skills, share our expertise and continuously improve our day-to-day practices.
