Privacy policy and general conditions of use of data by VLAD

 

Since 25 May 2018, a European regulation on privacy, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has entered into force.

The General Data Protection Regulation imposes new rules on companies, government agencies, non-profit organizations and other organizations offering goods and services to people in the European Union (EU) or collecting and analyzing data associated with EU residents. The General Data Protection Regulation applies regardless of your geographical location.

Always sensitive to the protection of the personal, professional and privacy data of its users, VLAD aims to clarify the use of the information collected to improve the experience of companies, administrations and consumers to offer the best products & services.

 

1. What kind of information do we collect?

VLAD collects information in the course of its business to sell products, provide services, respond to requests, provide customer support, fulfill its legal and contractual obligations and develop its products. You provide some of this data directly, such as when you order a product, contact customer support, or register for a VLAD event or publication. We also collect information during your interactions with our website, for example using embedded product technologies and cookies. We also obtain data through third parties.

 

1.1            Data provided voluntarily to VLAD

3. How do we share information?

We share personal information for purposes such as fulfilling orders, processing payments, preparing and sending advertising campaigns or any other activity necessary to complete a transaction or provide you with a product that you have requested or authorized. 3.2  With our suppliers

Our authorized suppliers may need personal information to provide the services we have contractually requested from them, such as product delivery, data analysis, IT services, audit services, payment processing or customer service. VLAD uses a wide variety of software and tools and processes personal information through these tools in the course of its regular business. Our contracts with our suppliers include clauses to protect your information and limit its use.

 

3.3  Advertising

We share your information with our partners (third-party advertising companies) in order to prepare and present advertising content, to provide content services, to enable them to provide you with more personalized advertisements and to study the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.

 

In particular, we use third-party advertising companies to serve advertisements about goods and services that may be of interest to you, in accordance with your marketing preferences. If you request the rectification or erasure of your personal information, please note that we may nevertheless need to retain certain information for the maintenance of our records and/or to carry out any transaction that you may have commenced before requesting such rectification or erasure (for example, if you make a purchase, you may not be able to have the personal information provided rectified or erased until the completion of the the purchase in question). Some of your information may also be retained in our systems and other records if this is necessary for us to fulfill our legal obligations.

5.2  Conservation
